Credentials issued by the International University of Higher Martial Arts Education are not designed to compete with secular academics, nor are they considered academic in nature. Credentials issued are based primarily upon life experience. The IUHMAE operates as a private non-traditional degree granting institution.

IUHMAE does not issue a traditional academic transcript, but a narrative transcript documenting life experience in the area of expertise that has merited the issue of a diploma.

IUHMAE degree's are not to be confused with a traditional academic degree as they will not be transferred to any other education institution. IUHMAE degree's are to be utilized solely by the martial arts professional as an official record of his/her experience.
